If you applied for SY25 and your student did not get a slot, you need to submit a SY26 lottery application form by the deadline to be considered for entry in Fall 2025. Old lottery applications are not kept year-to-year.

As a tuition-free public charter school, PVCICS is open to all students residing in Massachusetts. Entrance is by lottery. To enter the lottery, parents submit an Lottery Application Form available below. The lottery establishes the order in which students will be accepted into the school. Siblings of currently enrolled students will be given priority over other students in the lottery ranking. Additionally, students from within PVCICS's region of service, as defined in our charter, will be given priority over students outside the region.
Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1st of the year of entry. Entering students must have successfully completed the previous grade in the previous year. For example, students entering 9th grade must have successfully completed 8th grade in the previous year.
Principal entry points are Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades.
Region of Service
PVCICS can accept applications and enroll Massachusetts resident students from anywhere in the state. However, if there are more applicants than available slots, students residing in the region of service defined in our charter receive enrollment preference.

Lottery Updates for 2025-2026 School Year
First Lottery for K, 6th and 9th grade entry in fall 2025 will be conducted on March 5, 2025 at 12:00 Noon. Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM on March 3, 2025.
